Underpinned With Prayer

Contact the team

As with any church project, prayer is the essential element that underpins Next Steps. We value your prayers and this page will give some prayer points for you to use including a downloadable guide.

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the Lord.”
1 Chronicles 16:36

Please join us as we lift our hearts and voices in praise and thanks:

Dear Lord, our loving heavenly Father, We praise and thank you for your faithfulness and the leading of the Holy Spirit throughout this project. We thank you for the incredible answers to prayer and the solutions to which you have led the team when issues have arisen.

We thank you for the generosity of the church family in giving sacrificially to enable the work to be done and for their patience and understanding when delays have occurred.

We thank you for the skills of Peter W, the architect, and Des and his team as they bring to fruition the vision for the development of the church building, for its role in growing your kingdom here in Bluntisham and in the surrounding area.

All praise to you, Lord. Amen

Please offer up your prayers for the final aspects of the building project:

  • Final painting, electrics, carpentry work on the balcony, baptistry cover, and re-hanging the cross. Carpets fitted.
  • Snagging and commissioning and cleaning.
  • The delivery and fitting of the new stage.
  • For the workday on 7th May to be well attended and blessed with fair weather.
  • For the temporary chairs to arrive as planned and for the chairs we have purchased to be delivered before the end of the month.
  • For the new internal and external glass doors to be fitted.
  • The testing of techie equipment and setting up for the worship group.
  • Please pray, as we have done throughout the project, for the contractors, Hunts Construction, and all those involved in the project to stay safe and healthy and for them to be aware that they are involved in the work of our Lord.

Please also pray for two significant dates in the weeks ahead:

15th May – First Sunday service in the refurbished worship area

21st May – Community Open Day and Celebration Service.
