Catrin Horrex – Church Elder, Deacon for Safeguarding
Catrin is married to Dan and they have three daughters. They moved to Bluntisham in 2007 and quickly became involved in the life of Bluntisham Baptist Church.
A teacher by trade, Catrin loves enabling others to develop and grow. Spare time is taken up with singing in the local ladies choir, chilling out with friends and caring for the family guinea pigs.
Roger Orr – Church Elder
Roger was born in Belfast but has been resident in England from his student days. It was at university that he became a Christian. He is married to Joan and they have two children and three grandchildren. Roger worked in a number of companies related to the chemical industry in manufacturing and IT roles.
Roger has been involved in a number of Baptist and evangelical congregations in Loughborough, Nottingham and Cambridge. He joined the congregation at Bluntisham in 2012 around the time he retired from paid employment. He has acted as a Budget Coach in a number of voluntary organisations in recent years. After authoring and self publishing a family narrative history book, he now makes photography his main leisure pursuit. He has a love for the Word of God and a desire to help others become fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ.
