The Verdict

During Lent 2003, we engaged in 40 Days of Purpose, a 6-week programme that is designed to help us answer the question, "What on earth am I here for?" Together, our church family learnt about God's five purposes for our lives as outlined in the Bible, and we had opportunities to grow in each of the five purposes as we did so.

During these 40 life-changing days, we were encouraged to participate in each aspect of the programme. Many in the congregation heard:

• All seven Sunday morning messages in the series, 40 Days of Purpose.  Several of these can be found here.
• Read the 40 daily readings in the book The Purpose Driven Life by award-winning author Rick Warren.
• Joined with a Home Group to reflect on what you are learning each week.
• Memorised a simple Bible verse each week, as suggested in the book, that will focus you on God's purposes.  These can be found here.
• Added a message to our special Message Board.
