SPACE

SPACE is a fellowship and Bible study group for young mums and others around during the day. We called it SPACE because we want it to give us space to be with God.

There’s normally about 10 mums who meet each session, although there can be 16 of us. We want SPACE to fit into the day and make it possible to spend time with God without needing to find a babysitter, so we are very grateful to our crèche helpers who look after the pre-school children.

We meet fortnightly on a Wednesday morning 9.30-10.30am at church or in someone's house.

We began last year with some studies on How to be a Secure Woman. We need to place our security on God alone and how he loves us in order to find true significance in our lives. We then took six sessions to do an Overview of the Bible so we could understand how the Old and New Testaments fit together and what each book is about. Last term we studied the Fruit of the Spirit particularly looking at how we need to develop our patience, love, peace, joy, gentleness and self-control with God’s help.  We also enjoy our socials too!
