This year’s Holiday Bible Club for children currently in Reception to Year 6 is called Rocky’s Plaice and will be held at Bluntisham Baptist Church.

Rocky’s Plaice is a fun, fast moving programme of creative games, songs, Bible stories, workshops, DVDs, crafts, quizzes and a drama based in a fish and chip shop!

The club, which runs from 10am to 12 noon, is open to any child of Primary School age (current reception to year 6 in 2009/10).

There will be a special Celebration Service and Banquet on Sunday 1st August at 11am

If you would like your child to join in, please fill in the form below and return it as soon as possible. This will help us to pre-register your child and allocate them to a group. If you haven’t returned the form you can still come along on the day, with the form already completed. It’s going to be a great week!

Finally, Rocky's Plaice is run wholly by a large team of volunteers from Bluntisham Baptist Church, St. Helen's Church and St. Mary's Church and we need your help.

Every year there are loads of ways you can help out, whether it's preparing the venue, serving refreshments, preparing craft, organising games, providing technical support or helping supervise a small group of children. It's hard work, loads of fun, and very rewarding.

Would you be prepared to keep all or some of those 5 mornings free to help out in some way? Perhaps, as some have done in recent years, you could take some time off work. Even if you can’t commit to the whole week (which for most helpers involves being at the venue each morning from around 9.15 to 12 noon), previous years have shown the great value of people who have helped out for just a morning or two. Every person counts!
